Illustrated in 2021 (Personal Project)
Throughout the pandemic I was bombarded with sad and often very negative news stories- as were most of us I assume.
Then I saw a story about a mother hen who had taken three kittens under her wing after they were abandoned by their own mother.
I couldn’t help but draw inspiration from this heartwarming story- so I created an illustration of three innocent kittens taking refuge by their “mother” as they cower at the world around them.
I believe this news story would be such a lovely children’s book!
