He is Risen is a depiction of the joy, shock, and awe people must have been in at the sight of their risen Lord standing before them. I used each figure, apart from Jesus, to show a different emotion, a different reaction.
In a lot of ways I saw myself in each one of these people as I meditated on the profound truth of the resurrection.
